What To Expect – FAQ
At times picking a photographer can get a little overwhelming so I’ve done my best to try and answer some of the most frequent questions I get asked in hopes that it makes your experience just a little less stressful! 

What happens once I decide I want you to be my photographer?
First, I send you an invoice and contract to secure the date that you want. Next, you get to tell me about the vision you want for your photography experience. I feel like this is the most exciting part! I will send you a questionnaire so that you can fill out the details about what you want to get out of your session with me!

What can I expect during my session?
Once we get to the location I start off with some posed photos to break the ice. Then we’ll move into doing more candid photos. I find that the less posed photos are the ones that create the best memories.  If you have some suggestions about what you’d like to see I’d love to hear them! I suggest making a Pinterest board with poses that catch your eye.  I'm not the type of photographer who wants to recreate Pinterest photos exactly as seen but seeing your board helps me get to know you better!

Do you have your own studio?
That is a goal I am working on! Once I do have a studio it will be announced on my social media and website. Your session will be either at an outside location, your home. a public place like a coffee shop, library or an AirBnB.

How long will it take to view my images after the session?
It depends on the amount of images you've purchased with your session. If it's 10-15 photos it's typically about 2-4 weeks but I usually post a sneak peek on my social medias within a few days! Weddings are 8-12 weeks from your wedding date for finished products to be sent.
 

What should I wear?
I have suggested outfits on my Pinterest that I can send you!

How should I do my hair and makeup? 
If you can get your hair and makeup professionally done that would be the ideal situation but if not I can send you some tips to help you out!
 

What if it rains?
Unless it's a down pour or the ground is soaking wet the session is still good to go but we can keep in touch the day of and if the weather just doesn't cooperate we will find another day that works! If you are game we could also use the rain to our advantage with some cute umbrellas!

What if I need to reschedule?
I ask that you let me know at least 48 hours before the session is scheduled. I realize though, that at times there are situations out of any ones control. After the third rescheduled date by the client additional fees may apply.
